sacred, not safe.

this is a sacred space. it is not a safe space. one of the most frustrating aspects of the internet and internet culture is that although it is ever changing, everything we input into the system is permanent and not given social permission to adapt or grow. what does it mean to exist if we are forever stuck in a past action, thought, or bad outfit. are we expected to stay the same?

when each of our thoughts and images become permanent in a timeline, how can we even begin to understand ourselves and what does the philosphical ā€œIā€ even mean? as you read these words, i invite you to use them as a mirror. What holds for you, you may keep. what feels untrue, put away. what feels incomplete, make whole with me.
